See with me...as someone mentioned before.

Tiger Woods has achieved perfection countless time. He's just dominated and blown away the field. Woods has been an amazing golfer since being what 5 years old? Phelps has only achieved perfection in two events as a whole...the 2007 World Championship and the 2008 Olympics. (those are the only two reported) I once again am not trying to take anything away from Phelps but once again it's comparing apples and oranges.

you're not counting 6 golds and 2 bronze in the '04 olympics? I mean it may not technically be perfection but that's pretty damn impressive.

The thing that seperates phelps is that he won gold in all the different forms of swimming. Not just the freestyle

well they did do something that puts in more oxygen/ bubbles that also reduces friction along with the depth.

and like Robs I'm not saying that Phelps isn't an amazing athlete just that I think there are better athletes that aren't being recognized.
