I have to say I have never even heard of tobay and it sounds like a tropical island. speaking of tropical islands the water is suddenly sooooo warm. mike iz happy.
p.s. alex if the price is right I might take that poly off your hands, I kinda miss pintails

Edit: tags update: touche, but I am sad to see gil go frack yaself go... oh well. cups had slope yesterday at high tide, but is still not "the cancun of long island". p.s. will try a gilgosesh soon, have gas and days off tuesday/wed, keep me updated

Tobay has the same potential as jones and gilgo. Its inbetween the two. I have never been there because its a town of oyster bay beach (T O BAY) Its clear that the hamptons is where its at when it gets good (I am getting a South Hampton's resident pass from my aunt so I hope someone has a big truck that we can all pile into haha), but for us dudes out west its best to stick to Jones, Gilgo, Moses and those occasional hikes to demo.

I went to Western Moriches inlet, it had good slope and a good break, but it was all over the place and really choppy/incosistant probably because of the swell direction, so it has potential.

morning sesh today, got there around 10 or so, as andrew said there's that one spot that has pretty consistant (15*?) slope at high, serious chop. andrew, imagine that day we met levi, but around 3ft and choppier, still crumbly. brought the stoke tho, especially with the wakeboard. sounds like moriches was a lot like cups.
How was jetty?

hey guys im new to this : D ... but im a little disappointed because everytime i go to moses it is absolutely terrible for skim boarding... me n my friend went like 4 times early may and froze our asses off and it was amazing.. now i went like 4 times in the last 2 weeks and it rly is bad.... is there any reason? does it have to be high tide or low tide etc. help me out guys plz

Big swell has been rolling through every other week or so for the past few weeks, so it keeps flattening out the beaches, some spots have been okay though

Well then thats a good thing, steep slope and on shore waves are desirable for skimming, the maximize your speed and bring the waves closer to you

Mike. Jason and I were at moses yesterday. Field 5 has potential at low tide. Gilgo has been producing as of late. Nothing special from moses this season, a demo check is going to happen soon.
