for like a 2 hour period the winds are supposed to be like 10 from the north. other than that, crazy south terrible wind

do u guys know if gilgo or robert moses or jones has any slope? i know this weekend is prob gonna suck but tomorow my madre wants to go to the beach so i gotta try out my new syndrome (even though im gonna suck cuz its my first time skimming since august). if these places are gonna suck can u tell me where i should go? hearin a lot of talk about this j4 place but i'm not sure how far out it its. lookin for a spot on the west end, btween like fire island and jones (give or take a little). thanks

i'm going to new york city, don't know exactly where i'm going to stay but there should be one surf shop with skimboards in nyc?

i went to cedar today and the waves were really clean but just a little too small. only like a foot. tomorrow is supposed to be thigh to waist high, as long as the winds don't shift tomorrow is probably gonna be really fun.

oh and i doubt your going to find a shop in nyc with skimboards. there are a few places in rockaway and long island with like basic sand skimmer boards but not high end stuff.
