there are a couple of kids that post on this thread kind of infrequently that live in nyc. they have semilocal breaks I think but a lot go to jones... beaches within walking distance from an LIRR station...? dont know of any.
P.s. went skimmn today with a hood for the first time and the slope at jetty4 was GONE but the weather felt frickin balmy with that uncomfortable thing on. If I had only went when glenn told me to...
I met up with glenn for alittle bit before, he went to scout out smittys while I was finishing up at a surf shop and the verdict came back a no-go, the slope was gone yesterday so i wasn't expecting much hope for today.
yep dune was bum flat as well. slope started to show as the tide got lower(past the flats) but then it was starting to rain and all my excuses for leaving started to make more and more sense

ha its not even worth looking at right now but its on the way to cupsogue on dune rd. its called lashley pavillion on the sign, and its a little tiny wethampton village beach before you get to westhampton dunes and pikes beach and all that. I could do better directions than that if you need em

I think it's alittle better then religion, the people at religion are nice but idk i just like the vibe ray's shop has better.
I liked em a lot for skate but idk last time i was in there helping a friend pick out a skim I wasnt as impressed. she ended up gettin some weird brand and the board is heavy as sin w/ no rocker and the chick workin was not being helpful or convincing that she knew what she was talking about. i mean its still a nice shop but i feel like their prices used to be better
I honestly would'nt go anywhere on the island to get a skim, religion has actually got quite a few zap pro's there but still, theres no shops on LI that have a decent selection of skimboards.
whoever took the board is dead, literally boob has all there info, im so excited, and as for the " koolness" of shops, bunger sayville is the best, religion meh, theropy can go frack emselves, original owners in florida for the past couple years, as for skimboards in our shops, it wont happen because no one wants to pay 300+ dollors for a vic or exile, so itll never happen, i tryed trust me tex from vic came here and i took him to all the shops, didnt work out that well
did anyone on here take the board so i know who to go after ? because either way your done
