just kidding. anyway I was wondering if the New York beaches were effected as badly as the NJ beaches by the storms we had a couple months ago. I've been dying to shoot some more footage and making a NY mini movie would help pass the time until I get back to school. If anyones interested Ill drive up some day next week if you feel like showing me around

ya the beaches on wastern LI got it worse then eastern, still bad though, and comming up for a mini movie would be sick, ill keep watch on waves and let you know, ill gladly bring you around, ask tony sean or ted, they been here numerous times with me

Haha I'm guessing you had no luck on Monday and the beaches are stilll flatttt as I never heard from you. I'm up for a Long Island invasion if its worth it... The drive to the other side of Shitcock Inlet sucks (I was on the east side or further east and if it wasn't good I never had time before dark to get to the other side... was I in the wrong spot haha regardless I still found fun skim). I skimmed all over in that area from November to May and never saw another skimmer and only a handful of surfers.

its been so windy and just no good really, and ya the drive does kinda suck haha ( who is this ?) and there ant alot of us skimming up here haha

theres other ways mi amigo, and its just epic spot, no ppl few fisher men, when it works theres a sider, pounding shorebreak, epicness water, the inlet, man whats not great about it lol, o and a steap beach

ok im not being mean i sware lol . . do you have any sense of direction? the jetty points s/sw (facing the ocean), and LI doesnt run exactly west to east or east west whatever you wanna call it

Ah I get it, I forgot the jettys are on angles haha I feel you, but how big of a swell do you need to get a decent sider off of I, it sucksthe bowl side doesn't throw one, but close to the jetty it has some nice liners

the swell, man its really hit or miss, it just needs to be over waist high, its weird the tides need to be right and i just go with my gut instinct when it comes to that place, im going to go more this summer cause i wanna get pics and ride it, even if it dont work skims really fun
