i'll be up on the island end of this week and next week, but i am not paying those retarded parking fees at tobay / other places. if i can get my friend who has the pass to come with us i'll go though. otherwise i'll just be in long beach / atlantic beach

i usually work afternoons (6 ish) so i can skim whenever(going to montauk 22-28). we should get a skim meet at gilgo, jones or tobay. everyone post a date that they want the meet to be on

Holy frackin truth... nearly verbatim of what I would have said. You guys basically do run our beaches and force us to pay 7.50 just to swim in our own ocean and enjoy our own beaches. You might as well just post in the nj thread.

hahaha that happened to us... we were skimming it poured, then it stopped so we went back out and then we heard a siren...we took a trip to look over the bay, and you could see constant cloud to ground lightening, literally a strike almost every second...so we sat in my car and enjoyed the sho

i havnt been to montauk, montauks about an hour from me, so idk how much different itll be, the past 2 days have been a mix between 6 inches to about 2 foot waves, largest being 2 1/2, i wouldnt drive out that far to skim unless i was with a group of friends, and id go to other places besides there, from southern nassau to where i live is about 45 minute drive
