i was trying to go to skimbash this weekend but thats not happening, but saturday im taking the ride to cupsogue beach, anybody going down their PM me i never been their b4 and would like to know where the better spots are and such.

That sucks man, I already signed up for seabright. If you go to dune road past 5pm, check if lashley beach has people checking stickers. We were there today, was fun even with the smal swell. Cupsogue is alright to the left or near the Jetty, but lashley should b better.

We're going to Lashley again today around 4pm, was fun lines again yesterday. SO much better than seabright. let me know if you see this, ill PM you my #.
Seabright was fun, but the waves were not great. I wish I could've competed in last year's conditions. This weekend was my first time competing though, woo

im going to be working and living in sag harbor for the rest of the summer can any one give me some good spots close to there? much appreciated

Not sure if you surf or not but east shinnecock can be pretty good for surf and skim as long as you have a green key.

Hey man, I will be out in Sag Harbor from the 29th to the 8th. I usually skim coopers, flying point and hampton bays. What are you going to be doing out there for work?

keep in mind that people come out of the weeds on the weekends, which results in an immense crowd at Jones. Typically, the shoreline is fully occupied with little children and bros tossing footballs from Field 6 to Field 2. In such circumstances, I have find it easiest to wake up super early to make it to field 6 before the parking lot is closed off. From there, walk far down to the left (when you start seeing nude people you've reached the right place). If you arrive to late, drive down to Field 2 (the parking lot is towards West End) and skim to the right of 2. If you're ambitious and don't mind a long walk, your best bet would be West End 2. I haven't been there in a while so I can't tell you have the sand is currently, but the spot usually works best at high/mid-high tide. West End is, without a doubt, the best field to skim at Jones Beach State Park.

All I'm going to say is I skimmed LI a few times and the best skim wasn't at any of the fields....there's some other really incredible beaches on that little stretch...explore a little...and take a walk down where you can't take a car.

im travelling to new york from hong kong next week and ill be staying in long island in sayville, are there any places around that would be good to skim or if not surf at?
