whats going on? i am not new to the site but just recently joined and was wondering if the people from NY on here wanna do a meet? i just recently ordered a boom pro from skimcity and rode many carbons before this purchase and of course i get it in the mail and the rail is smashed luckily skimcity are good guys and sending a new one. i usually go to Robert Moses, democratic pt with my truck Demo on perfect days gives u great liners. reason im asking to do a meet is that i skim with a few of my freinds and been skimming with them for nealy 10 years. i really havent ran into anyone thats even decent or really loves the sport. so if anyones down lets set something up this season. or if anyone just wants to meet up during the week i skim year around,

winds are gonna pick up around noon, depending on my level of in-toxicity i reach tonight, im shooting for 8, i dont know if the jetty itself will be good due to high tide at 8, but a lil further down the beach, it will be good, basically, itll be good

just received my second boomhower from skim city, they sent my original and the bottom was damaged... Attachment 4993 soo i sent it back and i had to pick out a new one. i was upset about it cause the board looked sick. the good think about it was they let me pick out any arch bar and rear pad. here is the new board Attachment 4995and it beautiful i was a little scared of the colors being purple and all but it is gorgeous.

When the swell gets better we should skim together, i'm definitely looking to hit up demo if its working. Problem with us skimming with any of you westerners is it's so far so nobody ever wants to drive. skimlongisland and I skim out here on Dune Road in Westhampton, if you're ever gonna be out here and/or you're looking to skim, definitely let us know.Originally Posted by imadutchmaster

At the risk of sounding like a moron, where's the best place to skim at robert moses. i've never been because i'm about 30 minutes west of it and the only beach that go to that has reasonably good waves for skimming is jones beach.
democratic point is pretty good u gotta go their and prey its perfect if u dont know where it is look at a map. also usually any of the fields with a decent incline. TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE 75 DEGREES WHO IS GOING I WILL BE AT ROERTMOSES. if anyone is their u will recognize me with a boomhower carbon top and purple bottom. if demo is not goood most likely i will be at field 2 to the right or field 5.

who skimmed today i was down at field 2 at RM and i was gettin liners saw i had to take the walk to demo and it was sick. i had my camera and once i took it out it died, tomrrow im going to jones beach at like 10 will have the camera. hopefully i see some skimmers there hasnt been one ive seen this season'

What is west ENd 1. yeah saturday was great and the water temp wasnt that bad. im going to commsquoge this saturday if anyone is down pm me. im not sure how its spelled and never been their before. my goal for this summer is to literally skim all over longisland
