OK, mainly I just thought that was sort of a funny title.

However...

...I had a $200 buy-in, never dipped under ~$600, peaked at about $2200, walked away with ~$1500 (was a little more aggressive than I'd normally play, but the table had a couple really hot streaks).. Stuck with solid odds play (played one sucker bet that actually hit), held tough during a downturn (lost $400 on one hand, *ouch*).

Yeah. f**k me.

Holy shit, there was this huge black dude that everyone had been talking to all night. Came up with about 2-3K of $500 chips. Was talking really loud and kept yelling at the dice calling them "Murphy". Played a line bet with odds, and put $500 on a hard 6, rolled it. Made a couple of other line bets, 8 came up, played $500 on it hard, rolled it (that's $500 x 9 on both of those). He had like two beers he was pounding the whole time. I think he walked away with like $22K. All in like 25 minutes - craziest shit I've ever seen.

Hahaha that really doesn't make any sense now that I look back on it. I guess I didn't form that thought properly, but I remember hearing somewhere that you have the best odds of winning out of any of the casino games. I was just trying to provoke a response to see if I was way off or not.

Yeah, Blackjack and Craps can have the best odds. In most table games, you're booking your bet against the house, so the % quoted about odds is the return to the house for playing.

22% would be horrible. What's funny is you get a bunch of Dbags standing around a table "talking craps" then dropping chips on bets that give the house 11-22%. *IF* you play free odds (which are at true odds, i.e., mathematical ratio of return) you can redude the house edge to 0.8%, 0.6% or ever lower depending on the odds multiple allowed.

Craps on a crowded table can be really fun and exciting, and if you play correctly (and just don't have a huge streak of bad rolls), you can play all night on $100. Worst games are Roulette and just about any slot.

Roulette has 5.26% house odds (on a double 0/US wheel) vs. even single odds on Craps which is 0.8% for the house.

You tell me which one is better.

Yes! When I'm sitting at a table with friends, all we want is a slow, fun game that lets your money last a long time. Fat dealers tend to talk up the game quite a bit too which helps to keep the pace down.

Side Q: So if there's a big giant dookie in the toilet without any TP, does that mean you're walking around with your pants down and an upwiped ass?
