ehh i used as much as possible i would go like 10 runs then clean the rail so theres no sand and re apply the pam seems to work.
edit- but when i use bowling ally wax i put it on before i go skim and its works the whole time, when i get home i pressure wash it and re-apply

there both pretty much the same but with everglide its harder to apply cause your supposed to put it on with your hands but with the other stuff you use a paper towel lots easier and it comes with more

i found the same problem with everglide and then i think i was using it wrong (not enough or too much even though it gives instructions) and then it broke open in my skim bag and my bag has smelled like cinnamin since. it burned my eyes when i opened the bag the first time

Yeah, oil on the rail works good.....till sand and dirt gets mixed in, and then it works like sandpaper. Bowling ally wax sounds better or car wax on the bottom of your board. Sometimes while transporting two or more boards, the skimwax gets on the bottom of your board........get that skimwax off bottom!

Ehh ive tried car wax but it started to get a little sticky and it was hella hard to get off after a day, and yeah i hate when sex wax and stuff gets on the bottom i usually just lay mine where only the tops touch but i have pads on both of mine so the wax never touches

agreed. as much fun as rails are, there a pain in the ass to maintain. o and i've found that baby oil works really well when removing skimwax.

Yeah there also heavy not very fun to bring up to your car after a long ass day , and if you want to get rid of all your wax after you get off as much as you can just use some acetone looks like new after,

surftech roush medium, i also have a large but i need to sell it its to big, i bought it after my medium hit a rock and made a hugee gash at the top right but i decided to epoxy it AFTER i bought the board... so the large was a waste of 150$

nah you dont notice a difference other than the looks, but i dont know about if you use it on the bottom cause mines more on the top and on the rail of the board and it was sanded good

oh ok. I had to epoxy mine on the bottom. The only thing im really worried about is if it will stick on rails.

The $150 part is the reason why I'm riding a home-made board for learning on. I ding the nose every time I've tried to ollie over something.

    I'll buy a good board eventually - a J-Gordon most likely.
