ordering a exile this week

hey guys i think i am finally going to order a exile s glass. looking to get into wave riding. still will do a fair amount of flat landing, so far i have black top white logo grey bottom, s glass, 5/8 thickness, probably get a traction pad and arch bar as well. also getting the textured over the gloss finish. anymore suggestions? need input before orderin.

where do you skim? you might want to look into getting a 3/4 instead of 5/8 seeing how you are a beginner

oregon. there is not a ton of heavy shore break i figured the 5/8 would give me some added float

Yeah 3/4 for sure, you would do fine with the Vic as well.
