ahhh i'm sunburned

went to a friends pool today and got the most wicked sunburn of my life. my entire torso, neck, and face is the color of like the red plastic cups. i put on some sunblock early but went about 7 hours without putting any more on. frack it burns and i'm complaining about it a lot. shit.

I had a really bad one before. it was cloudy to, so stupid me didn't put sunscreen on. I was out for about 6 hours. I ended up getting blisters on my shoulders. Those are real fun to wear a shirt with.

Aloe vera gel works best. Looks half as bad, redness, the next day. Just keep putting it on when you can. Feels so good and takes the redness away quickly. Take a cool shower a hot one will hurt like a bitch. I got my wort on elast year skking in Colorado. First time skiing west I forgot that the atmosphere is a lot thinner at 2 miles high. My face was so red and burned. I'm sure the chlorine and whatnot of the hot tub and pool didn't help. Tok like a week or two to completely heal. My face hurt so much to smile, eat, etc. To many muscles. My lips were fryed too. I couldn't open my mouth all the way to eat and if i did my lips would crack open and bleed. Believe me it wasn't fun. Gotta be careful sunburns hurt like hell and lead to cancer.

I love when it is really cold and you go snowboarding, you have no skin exposed so you don't have to worry about the sun.

I am actually quite knowledeable in sunburns. I have natural dark skin but i still get burned and heres the BEST way to cope. (im talking about burns so bad you cant sleep at night-literally)

Take a cold shower, dry off carefully so you dont irritate burned skin and cause unnesecary peeling, put on pure aloe vera everywhere and then put lotion on. aloe vera will sooth for instant gratification and the lotion will make it last keeping skin moisterized. repeat when neccesary.

speaking of cancer everytime you get burned it will most likely affect you in as much as 20 years later. the more you burn, the more free radicals which undeniably lead to skin cancer. its scientifcally proven and it will happen. so wear sunscreen.

we have this plant thing thats green and has like little spikes on it and has white goo in the middle: is that aloe vera? we've always used it for stuff like that.

I already had a cancer scare thought it was melanoma turned out it wasnt and the docs just removed the skim i wass lucky.
