reapplying traction?

hey,
my traction pad recently decided to come off where the kick is, is there something that I can reapply it to my board without using something that is'nt so permanent like gorilla glue?

I like contact cement, you can get it at any hardware store. You let it dry before you stick them together, so as soon as you stick them together your finished, you can go skim.

well the glue really isn't that permanent. you can just heat it up and use some goo gone later if you want it off

clean it up, make sure theres no wax or anything under the pad, super glue it

use 2 ton epoxy. the pad won't ever come off.

i just use loctite super glue, keeps them sealed from water cause my pads tend to come up a bit because i did a shitty sanding job (textured) plus it holds them down for months.

or put 2000 fs all over your board

first sand it down good

then jizz on it and let it dry

It will make you a better skimmer and will hold it down too

liquid nails dude. ive tried gorilla glue, super glue, and jizzing on my board; but liquid nails does the job

It will come off in about 10 minutes of skimming. Gorilla Glue or super glue. Be careful with the Gorilla, it foams up and expands a lot.

ShoeGoo/"GooP"/Liquid Nails. All of them are waterproof, which is a key factor I don't think anyone mentioned yet.

Gorilla Glue is an alright option if you just have some laying around...but remember it turns into polyeurothane foam, and [foam + water] x Time = heavier foam. Plus, it will undoubtedly expand beyond where you wanted it, get on something you didn't want it on, and your day is ruined. same goes for Jizz i suppose
