    Default breakfast burritos

don't keep your virginity as long as i did. so good.

the ones they sell at the coffee shop down the street are some local hippie ones and are awesome, so i can't speak for the goodness of all breakfast burritos.

El Palomar Cafe at the harbor is the best in the world, honest. (Get the one with Coralitas sausage).
Always a good idea to get your mexican from mexicans.
I sure the hippies can make a decent one but still.
I hate rolling into a sushi place to find some fracking Honkey in a karate kid bandana behind the sushi bar. I want something japanese -not some
    Japo-Scandinavian hybrid bunk.
I feel the same with Mexican.

Eating a breakfast burrito is like asking for explosive diarrhea for lunch. You know it's gonna come, but it's still a surprise.

a hippie breakfast burrito isn't an attempt at mexican food though, it's like a different cuisine so it can be appreciated for what it is. mine had tofu and some weird curry spice or something in it.

also, are breakfast burrito's really mexican cuisine? im not so sure. will check out palomar though, thanks. i never go to the one by the harbor.

Actually I think the Burrito itself is not of mexican origin at all. I'm pretty sure it is a SouthWestern American deal. I could be wrong (happened once before).
I know that rice in a burrito is def. not a mexican tradition.
So I guess they're fair game for hippies. Even if they do lace 'em with cumin and brocolli.

I'm not a hippie, or a Mexican, but I make a mean breakfast burrito... Every morning I make a good sized hot breakfast. Breakfast burritos are on the rotation pretty regularly...

anybody know salsa lizano from Costa Rica? if you've been to CR it's pretty much on every resturaunt table. it's basically a pepper sauce that is thicker, has a lot more seasoned flavor instead of being all kick like tabasco. anyway, this discussion of hot sauce got me thinking about it so i just ordered 4 bottles off the net. have looked for a substitute that you can pick up in U.S. stores but haven't found one yet.
