The two I saw tonight were pretty sweet. Seems like he really wants to climb this season.

And yes, he can sleep in a hotel if he wants. The point of the show isn't like Survivorman, where he stays for 7 days. Man vs. Wild just shows you random tricks to help you survive, and not so much with shelter for the night.

My only objection to that structure is that Bear always has a shit load of energy to climb, hunt, swim, whatever activity, even after like 4 or 5 days there. If it were real he would have barely have any. (Like Les Stroud)

But with more energy, he can show more tips and do crazy shit, so both shows are fine by me.

You must remember that Bear is ex-S.A.S. The shit he does on the show is a mere cakewalk to what he's already been through. He's not a normal person.
