I don't know of any official lessons, but most everyone is pretty chill. Just style copy if you're nervous to ask for pointers. Where do you usually skim?

Iv been at 38 everyday for about 2 months. but Il be switching back to 26 soon. Iv never really been into liners. Where do you?

i usually skim hoopers...some days 38th...i got a white nemo...no pro but looking for people to skim with...

ill prob be at 26th saturday and maybe try to find liners on sunday. I'm on a crazy looking beat up roush. Prob some very short boardshorts haha. come say hey.

everyone knows about 26. Thats the default SC spot. If people started getting more specific then they would get axed.

Is 26th supposed to be good Saturday? I know weather is going to be nice and all. I haven't been down there in a couple months and I've been itchin for some santa cruz skim.
nope, not good at all. It will be way too windy, and the sand ran away, there are rocks everywhere, and they outlawed skimming there. blackballed.

That place is tricky to connect. If you're asking for lessons I'd say get that taken care of first. Unless you're looking for Cory Ryan to give you advanced sider riding lessons.

Well iv never ridden it, but i dont think it could be too much harder than those couple days when moes has a reall connection. and the question about a lesson would be more about tech then catching waves
thats what i meant, if people started asking or telling about low profile spots.

I dont think either are really low profile. If you live and santa cruz and skim and dont know about them.....go home. and I doubt many people take skim trips here.
ease up man, im just sayin i dont think its smart to post when certain breaks are working. if we did that, then liner/sider spots would become crowded. and i make skim trips to sc often.

Ok. my bad if if i sounded a little angry, didnt mean it. But I think talking about a liner spot is much different than something thats 9 blocks long. I would never talk about liners in the forum

People definatly take skim trips to santa cruz. Me being one of them.
I mean from out of the area. Id say whatever place your closest to is your spot. So san jose to sc wouldnt be a skim trip to me....
coming from the kid that asks for lessons and asks about barrels. come on now....loc dowg (haha)

heyy. I asked bout lessons cuz my airs are crap. and I asked how long it took people before they started getting in consistently. That doesnt mean I just started skimmming, or I just started getting in.

i'm coming up next weekend and would like a spot by spot analysis with tide charts/swell direction/size. crowd factors, cheap gas stations. pleasure pizza, and hippies.
