Zap International Contest results
Just to let you know, that even tough the we had the presence of french (about 10 riders, including the last year's european champion), american (Jason Wilson, Joey Vavala, Chris Rudolph, Ivan Ashauer, Zack Smetts, and i can't remember more names) Spanish riders (about 7, and some that ride for Team Folha Espaņa) two crazy dutch guys, who are really nice guys and went there to show off their boards.
The semi final heats were something quite amazing, in one heat it was Mega, João Dinis, Lino Curado, Olivier Chaubert. And in the other one was Hugo Santos, Joey Vavala, Jason wilson and Zack smetts.
To the final went Mega, João Dinis, Hugo Santos and Joey Vavala.
it was an amazing final heat, with an amazing crowd watching, there were people screaming, cheering, it was impressive.
And after all the winner was (as expected) Hugo Santos, wich is continuing to prove, that in europe, he rules.
A word to the American team Zap Riders, you are some funny guys, everybody here loved to hang out with you guys, and we hope to see you again next year, by the way, you'll probably need a couple of days to recover when you go back to the US because portuguese beer is not as light as the american one.
