yeah but everytime i go to the beach to skim, there isnt that large of an amount of exiles..

Zap is big in FL. Every area can have big quantities of different boards but SO has a decent national overview.

just means these people aren't spending time on skimonline, they are actually skimming...hahah... I guess you could take the members selections per group, divide it by their number of posts, and find which board company gets the least use, because their members are online.

not one person rides an exile here anymore... cheyne and nate and woody are all somewhere else... well woody is cali now.... cheyne is doin school down south in Wilmington NC and nate is down there too. thats all the people who ride exiles.

yea, this is Zap/Concept country around where I am (Gulfcoast/FL). I rarely see Vics. I do see a fair share of Exiles though.

Honestly in my area, I see more Exiles than anything... many have Zaps, but they are usually only Zap Pros, not many Comps. Beginning to see a lot more Concepts here, and less and less Vics

Here are my logical thoughts and and my reasoning for the results on this pole...

Just by the very nature of their businesses, Vic and Zap sell hand over fist more skimboards than Exile. I'm guessing however, that the bulk of their sales are made up in low end and entry level boards, something which exile doesn't manufacture.

That being said, I think most of the people that come on here are not your average joe kid that buys a vic foamie, or a zap wedge and goes skimming a few times a year. Granted I'm sure few of those people are on here, but by in large, I think the primary skimonline message boards user is a core market rider with a high end product.

So taking all these things into consideration... its probably safe to say Exile has managed to capture a very large chunk, possibly even be market leader in the high end boards.
