I wish I had a 70-200 f/4 L but a 50mm f/1.4 would do me better. Or just get rid of all my 35mm stuff and either get more mf stuff, or a rangefinder like a leica or something... so tempting.

so I tried messing around with the Content Aware feature in CS5. All I wanted to do in this picture was to remove that middle patch of grass. seems simple enough, i mean there's concrete on both sides that it can draw from. but no matter how I outlined the part i wanted to fill, it still pulled pieces from mostly the building. I guess I'll have to mess with it some more, but idk, seemed more simple than the tutorial video imo.

Oh and on another note, i just shot a wedding yesterday as a second shooter. Shot from noon until slightly after ten pm. It was alot of fun but much harder than i thought it would be.

I did get to use the brand new 70-200 F2.8L IS II though and the 50 f1.2L, 24-70L, 16-35L which was pretty sweet but even with those lenses and high iso some shots just were a bitch to get

Did you handhold the 70-200? or Tripod shoot the entire night. Is it true that that thing is significantly heavier than the F4L?

50mm f/1.2L is probably awesome, and really hard to focus wide open right?

Actually, forget f/1.2, f.95 is where it's at.

I did hand hold it alot, but i also threw it on a monopod for some of the ceremony. And it is literally three times the weight of the F4L

The 50L is a epic lens but it is hard to focus wide open, esp with auto focus, and when you need to focus fast in low light its hard because it will focus on the closest thing and sometimes manual focus will just be shit luck because of the crappy lighting. But good lighting with that lens would be amazing
