    Lens baby?

And tell me is the one of the clouds photoshopped at ALL?? Be honest.
    Scouts honor on it.

PS: Get me out of the studio and give me time to take, um, a skim photo.

Actually no, it's not a lens baby. I read it wrong and misunderstood. It was just a 70-200.

    Shenanigans. I'm calling it.

Bought a new camera 2 weeks ago.
It's Fujifilm S5800 Finepix, anyone that has that too or has experience with it?
It was only 180 euro's and it has 8 megapixels and 10x optical zoom, quite nice i think.

I didn't take these obviously but these are just too epic to not post in a photography thread...

Volcano erupting in Chile while there is a thunderstorm. Pretty fracking epic if you ask me.

    First photo ever taken...

Hubble Ultra Deep Field. The original picture is about 65mb and way, way larger than this. I just resized it for convenience. Every blip in this picture is a galaxy. Epic.

Seeing that really turned me on to astronomy. It really is the most mind-blowing thing we have in terms of knowledge. Subscribe/Check the APOD (Astronomy Picture of the Day), really great photos and descriptions.

Astronomy stuff really just makes my head explode when I think about it. I took a Stellar Astronomy course the other semester and it was hard with the math but the wealth of knowledge you learn is just incredible. Lectures in that class made my head explode repeatably. I can talk about this stuff all day. Still got mah textbook heh.

Also, I have tons of more pictures like this. Epic ones, i'm wondering if I should start an 'epic pictures' thread.

you would think with my outdoor experience id have some great photos...really not the case. Mostly due to my shitty Kodak point n shoot camera. Nothing is in focus and everything comes out blurry. Its hard to carry a large DSLR into the field when youre on foot. That and a lot of the wildlife i see is on the move so i miss the shot or get a poor quality one..

What im posting dont compare to you guys with your DSLRs, but here is some of my favorites. some taken on my old kodak, some on my newer better one.

Sunset atop a summit while backpacking in GA

A largemouth bass i caught (notice hook in mouth)

Large alligator that followed my lure to the shore (the palm bark and grasses there is the shoreline). Im about 5 feet away so its safe, right?

13 wild turkey that cross the road and fled into this field in front of my truck

I think the edditing looks really good on the car, but the green of the trees is a little over powering
