I've been skimming in FL for the past week and can't wait to get back to East
Oh also, anyone skim at Block Island before? Me and my buddy are heading down there on the weekend of the 8th and i've never really heard anything about skim there.

I heard that the best skim on Block Island is to the north and to the south of where the Farry loads you off. I've never skimmed there though.
I have Friday's off from work so I'll most likely be down there this Friday at East skimming with the board in my sig.

evan, nauset was really good today, i think we might be going there friday. its all sand, supposed to be no wind, and it should be nice waves.
Alright cool. I probably won't go though because that is a 3 hour drive for me haha. Have fun though, hope you get a good tide.
Rexhame was fun tonight. We saw that the buoy hit 2.0@7 around 5 or 6 so we decided to head down.

Whats up my New England Reckless Skimmers? I know it's been a year since I've been on the messageboards, and I'm sorry I missed the contest. I haven't skimmed at all this summer. Last time was a few months ago with Josh, Jimmy, and Mike-V. And the time before that was at last years contest at the Cape. I'm going to a Westport beach today in the afternoon just to get back into it with a few friends.

today at rex wasnt that bad. a random swell came in around high tide and there were waist sets for a good couple hours. much better than the crap we've had all week

i need to skim something good soon before i lose my mind.
Went down to Rexhame tonight even though it was low tide just to mess around. It ended up being pretty fun. I took some photo and video of just the surrounding area and skimmed for a bit. The beach was flat but waves were breaking pretty close to shore. Great for high stepping, hit some decent little ones. Took this as well.

So skim at Lacounts yesterday was atleast chest high....
i have never been so worked over in my life. they were jacking up onshore and id either tuck in or get absolutely raped over the rocks. I can barely walk
