hey is anyone on here good at photoshop, and could put a flyer together? so far for sponsors its exile, and skim city, and i sent freak an email and waiting for a response. the comp is on may 17th, at nauset public beach. this should be a good time fellers.

Anyone skimming this week? let me know.

I made the flyers for last year's competition (help from Sean too). Me or him could probably throw some together. Once you get a list of sponsors send me a PM and I can throw something together.

...and yes, New Bedford is right next door, but the school is pretty sweet. There are a couple of other schools close to the water, I hear Salem State is pretty close. If you want to come check out UmassD let me know.

I don't think you realize that most transfer deadlines were March 1st - April 1st. I was really only able to get out the applications which had deadlines in Late April to May. Flager for instance was March 1st. I wasn't 100% about transferring until around mid march. Then there is the whole process of requesting professor recommendations, writing the essay, filling out the application, and having official college and high school records send. It took a considerable amount of time.

Keep in mind that if I get into both of these schools, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm attending. I'm still pretty open to the possibility of taking a semester off next year to really get my head focused on what I want to do and where I want to be. These things can't be rushed so I want to make a good decision, other wise I will be screwed for the foreseeable future.

Anyways, back to skim. I should have a couple version of that flier ready by Friday afternoon Josh, I am finishing up two term papers pretty much all day tomorrow (Thursday). By the way jimbo, winds are looking onshore for this weekend in rhody.

Sunday [waist to chest] [semi clean / textured]
Surf: Waist to chest high ENE medium period swell.
Conditions: Semi glassy/semi bumpy with NNE winds less than 5kt in the morning shifting N for the afternoon.

Tuesday [waist to chest] [choppy / bumpy]
[knee to waist] [clean / fairly clean]
Surf: Waist high mix of ENE medium period swell and ESE short period wind swell for the morning with occasional chest sets. This fades to knee to waist high in the afternoon.
Conditions: Choppy, strong sideshore current in the morning with ESE winds 20-25kt. Clean conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting SW 10-15 kt.

Wednesday [knee to waist] [clean / fairly clean]
Surf: Thigh to waist high ENE medium period swell.
Conditions: Clean with SW winds 5-10kt in the morning shifting SSW 10-15kt in the afternoon.
