Evan there might be a couple of contests on the Cape ran by Sean, unless you are talking about Josh doing his own event. Regardless, we all need to skim together and get photo/video. The whole Norwell Crew will be back by late april and early may and making regular trips to Cape/RI.

Surf: Stomach to shoulder high SSW wind swell.
Conditions: Sideshore texture/chop with W winds 5-10kt in the morning increasing to 10-15kt in the afternoon.

If we go early we might luck out even though it would be sideshore. I kind of just want to get out in the water though.

I'm KILLING myself right now. It's probably sick at East, or at least I'd go surf in Narragansett. My sister is at BC for the night and I have no car to go anywhere. Me and Josh were gonna go but I told him on Friday it might not be that good today because of the winds, but now they are really light and it sick.

I'm not sure yet. I applied to Northeastern and UMass. I gotta a lot to think about. Ideally I'd like to go to a university with the majors I'm in thats in driving distance of the ocean. Right now at Providence it's like 40 minutes to any of the beaches, but the school doesn't really have any of the majors I want. Northeastern and especially UMass aren't anywhere near the beach so I gotta do some thinking. As long as I have a car I'm good. I would have applied to schools in Florida or out West, but the deadlines for most of those schools were march and april first to transfer.

I'll go tuesday, I get out of class at 1:30. We would have to go later. High tide is at 6:00. So we could get there around 4. I'm down for Thursday too as long as I can get a hold of my sister's car. I'm pretty sure I could get it both days.

Wow, that really sucks. I was following Caleb's blog for awhile and fell out of touch with it for awhile. His mother seems like one of the most strong and amazing women out there. What a rough year for the Cape.

But Josh, we never go to newcomb, so I wouldn't worry about that.

Are you still down for tuesday and/or thursday? IM me or something if you want. Tuesday seems like its going to be really small. Thursday is looking sick still.

Tuesday

Thursday
Surf: Chest to shoulder high SE medium period swell in the morning with occasional head high sets. This drops a bit in the afternoon.
Conditions: Clean in the morning with NNE winds 10-15kt. Fairly clean conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting to the NE.

mike, are you looking at UMASS Amherst? Its 40minutes north of where I live. I actually know the area sorta well. You could get into hiking and sorta be close to Vermont for snowboarding.
