yeah u would say that now... but then when u get there u will realize why the surf stays empty. theres a shitloaddddd of fishermen ready to kill u if u frack with them in any way. Then you'll think twice when u see the number of sharks they pull in compared to fish. Id surf it too believe me but its just not a place u wanna surf alone. and also when u see the liner/skim that comes through ull jizz and theresa sider at the Tip of hte point that u cant see in that pic.

and that not what the point looks like anymore. it changes 400 times a year haha.

fracking birds are ruining one of the best point breaks on the east coast. If anyone is home this week, go to the court date and speak your mind. I know every local from home would rather drive on the beaches than have them closed down for years to stabalize a bird population. This will adversly effect not only our surfing and skimming community, but our rich surf fishing industry will be almost non existent.

jack...what would be wrong with them shutting down driving on the beach there? what kind of fisherman would lug all his gear out there...maybe 1 or 2....how many skimmers would gladly lug there gear (a skimboard)...maybe like 30

Oregon Inlet, Cape Point, Hatteras Inlet, and North and South Ocracoke will be completely closed to everyone, for the next 3 years.

and cheyne is right..no fisherman is going to hike there shit to all the way to the point and its not even that far walk at all..plus we only carry skimboards and can easily skim there

driving makes it easier..but in this case it makes it less crowded and better for us skimmers
