Default Fun Session in The Bahamas *Pics*

Cold front was blasting yesterday, NE Winds 15-20, made for some powerful wind swell, but the wind was still a little too far outta the North for it to be really good. Today the wind was alot less and further outta the East, and SE, but the waves were smaller and troughy at times. Anyways, here's a few pics, thought you might get a kick outta them:

Nope. Its pretty much that same color 24/7. The water here hardly ever gets mucky, so its just the sand making that color all the time. Today it wasn't crystal clear, but it was nice. The other day I went to the beach at 10 a.m. on a calm day and that water was crystal, open your eyes underwater even without goggles and be able to see for quite a while. Tis nice.

that would be such a perfect place to skim weather/water wise, if you guys got some nontroughy/bigger waves. Have you explored much to see if there are any better breaks?

We have done some exploring yea. Not a whole lot. but some. Every now and then we'll go for a drive out west to some of the surf spots and stuff. But I think the main problem is, almost every beach has a barrier reef in front of it. Usually they're like a 1/4 mile offshore, but on bigger days it breaks like 2x before it gets to the beach.

The waves dont get troughy on Hurricane swell, or a good Nor east'er, its just that this was residual wind swell from the cold front. Some people would probably decide not to even bother, but we still had fun and were able to work on a few things.
