    any skim? a friend of mine was showing me some old pictures from like 2001 and he's got one of some pretty heavy on shore stuff there.

    might stop by there and check it out on a road trip this summer. picture looks pretty ridiculous. not much shape, but heavy as hell.

    I definitely wouldn't go to Big Sur for the skim. It's probably pretty fickle, and hard to find/access. But I've heard it exists.

    Big Sur is more about the pretty scenery and shit.

    i don't know if its just me but i could seriously see someone just looking over the edge and falling down all the way at like a moderately paced roll, and then landing on the beach followed by a huge swell landing on top of them

    hahaha. that drive between santa cruz and san luis obisbo, was hell. i think it was right at that bridge when you and rob started cracking road sodas. that was a classic trip.
