You dont like the taste of 475HP??? Ok..........
frack orcas.
Lol. The 470 hp sounds great but for me the styling of the car leaves much to be desired. To each his own.

Thanks for the 2 cents...

add seems sketchy, says its 500 whp capable, but then it sounds like he doesn't have a big turbo just a fmic. Not to mention an aftermarket FMIC isn't even smog legal in CA. Also if you can only afford a 10,000 car don't get a heavily modded one as you wont be able to afford repairs and most shops wont even work on it.

the only thing on that one is an exhaust and intake though right?
the hobo goes rawr
No he has a FMIC, larger turbo, tuned, port and polish, among many other things. I'm sorry to call this guys bluff but you don't do all that to a car and not drive the shit out of it. I am always weary of people who emphasize every modification along with it's price. To me it seems like they are trying to convince you to buy it.
I guarantee it would be a blast to drive but I think you're better off purchasing a stock or SLIGHTLY modded vehicle and doing you own stuff to it.

am i blind where is the turbo?
i really like this one but the guy flaked on me and isnt responding to calls/texts

My bad man I glanced at the mods and only read GReddy Turbo and never read the word Timer. Regardless what I said above still holds true
I remember you posting that earlier ... it's pretty sweet. Sucks about the response.
You'll want to confirm this but if I remember correctly the rear seats don't fold down in the 02-07 sedan models. So depending on what you plan on carrying in the car that may be a determining factor

Isn't that where a car has been junked by the insurance adjuster for technical safety reasons but the owner can still keep and sell as long as he gets the salvage title and discloses the reasons for salvage?
Salvage means that there was so much damage done to the car (usually 75% of current value or more) that they would write off the car and send the owner a check for a new car. So basically a salvage title means the frame was bent and the car was pretty much demolished, unless of course it was stolen. In some states any stolen car is titled salvage.

Yea I was thinking frame bent but still mobile. The owner gets a check and still sells the vehicle but with salvage title only.
Doesn't always mean the frame is bent. Lots of older Miata's get totaled for something as simple as a bent up quarter panel as it cost more to fix than its worth to the insurance company. Many of the enthusiasts either buy the car back and re-title it (salvage) or just buy it back, take all the parts to another clean titled Miata and part out what's left. All in all, I would never buy a salvage title car unless I was using it as a track rat or LeMons car.
Also, last Friday had some lulz. Middle aged guy in a C5 Vette sped up so I couldn't merge in front of him a bit before an off ramp. As we approach off ramp at an atrociously low speed (his face via rear view indicated he thought he was hauling ass) I just popped to the outside and effortlessly passed mid-corner leaving him about 5 car lengths behind. He then proceeds to go well over the speed limit just to show he can go faster in a straight line...I was cracking up.

Ha. Love when Corvette's get shown they're nothing but shell.
And yea I was using bent frame as an example. Couldn't figure out how to explain it but your way is best. Repairs beyond what insurance is willing to pay.
Changed the oil today. Drove it after and within 3 miles developed some sort of fueling issue. Checked all my filters, which had some junk in there but nothing super crazy. Pulled all my jets real fast and popped the sending unit and pickup out of the fuel tank. Still runs like shit. It will start if I pump the gas pedal a bunch of times before turning it over and will run for ~30 seconds, then sputters out. I couldnt check the fuel pump itself because it started raining and I ran out of daylight, but unless its really fuucking plugged up, i'm completely stumped.
Suggestions?
Don't bro me if you don't know me.
Idk, i'm skeptical, it seemed to flow a good amount when I had the supply line off the carb. I'm leaning towards something still being clogged in the carb, I didnt have any aerosol cleaner so I just visually inspected and cleaned by hand. This is frustrating though, it was running perfect when I drove it yesterday.

Well a car can be deemed salvaged for a number of reasons ranging from a bad accident, to theft or even having the car broken into and the air bags stolen out of it. It has a lot to do with the insurance company and their willingness to fix the car when these types of things occur. For example, if the car was in a bad accident and the damage was severe or cost to repair it was more than the car is worth then the insurance would pay the claim on the car and label it as salvaged ... well these cars can be repaired to working condition and remain in operation but they will forever have a salvaged title.
As far as the carfax report goes it will give you a summary of the life of the car including the number owners, when it was sold and how many miles were on the vehicle, any accidents it has been it, and whether the title is clean. Personally, I think it is worth the money but that might be a risk you're willing to take.
Additionally, the qualifications for issuing a salvaged title is different in many states so you can look it up for Florida and go from there.

Nice car! I just got a 2012 WRX a little while ago. I originally wanted that white color, but they were hard to find without ordering and waiting forever, so I settled with the dark gray. Anyway I'm loving the car. Much more refined and better overall than my 06 WRX wagon I had. Here's a couple pics:

J-Gordon- Team Rider Sand Sweeper,
5door wrx ftw. If I had money that'd be my DD. Decent power, good handling and can still lug stuff around. Great looking rides.

Pulled my plugs, got a nice dark brown color to them, but they look damp in some places and smell of fuel, even after sitting overnight. I'm thinking when I added oil to my valve cover I had some valves open and may have fouled them a bit and then driving afterwards exacerbated the problem. Gonna get a set of plugs and some carb cleaner and see what I come up with. This is seriously becoming a pain in my ass, i'm supposed to move tomorrow and drive her 350 miles.
Don't bro me if you don't know me.
Wouldn't that brown and wet be a product of another problem? Worn rings or cylinder walls. Eek man. I hate the diagnosing stage.
How new were the plugs? Is it possibe they we're firing and burning the fuel entering the chamber?
They came with the car, could be ten years old, I have no way of knowing. The dark brown indicates a mixture thats a smidge too rich, which is what I was going for (better than too lean), them being I wet, I believe, is a symptom of whatever fueling issue I have now. In any case, 4 new plugs for $8, a can of carb cleaner for $3 and an inline fuel filter for between the tank and pump for $3. If I cant resolve whatever is going on, I might be taking the 944 to Tallahassee and have to come back for the pumpkin.
