Who brought up the FWD argument you fracking troll? GTFO

My comment about tuning an integra for handling had nothing to do with the fact that its FWD. I has to do with the fact that its a sport-compact 4-banger and that it would be fracking stupid to try to build a drag car out of it when it has so much more potential as an auto-x car, touge car, or even a track car.

Go rekindle an ancient, inane argument with somebody else.

Who can't take a fracking joke and has to get his panties in a twist? Just laugh it off instead of being a defensive fracking cry baby, it was a joke and you freaked out, I ran with it because it was hilarious. I know the internet is serious business, but you shouldn't take it so damn seriously sometimes.

Holy crap, that was probably an e-ticket ride. Did he somehow managed to get past the R lockout or was it just not working? I guess with enough dumbass power, anything is possible.

I honestly have no idea. It was an FC and this guy is a notorious retard/jackass. His excuse was "I forgot it was only a five-speed." Your guess is as good as mine.

My bad, I meant to type 2. Very far from Fast and Furious. If you read my EK buildup you would know my style. I don't let ricers ruin my love for hondas. First thing I would do is big brakes and suspension but it already has that.

You have to remember. A Integra Type R is almost on par with an S2000. Minus the looks.

Quarter mile at a time .YOU HAVE TO PUT IN R TO RACE an S2K though

and run around the same numbers on thie skidpad (.90 g's)

Not saying the 'teg is an equal. I fap to S2k's daily

I got smoked by an IS350 today. I was concerned until I checked up on its stats... 306hp/277tq

Now I don't feel so bad. He only had half a car on me by 1/8mi.

Been there. There was a hill freeway on ramp like 1/4 mile long I used to wind out my 2000 Prelude on every morning. Was pretty quick. Mid 13's N/A. I came around the bottom of the entrance and opened up to pass 8-10 cars by the time I got to the top. Well 3 chicks in an Audi entered the turn at the same time and heard me gun it. They did too. Stayed ahead of me by half a car link the whole time. I was like WTF? Then found out it was like the top of the line Audi sedan. A8 or something like that. Skanks!

Sorry to hear that Mega. Get a Nissan Frontier or pickup and drift the shit out it. There's like no weight over the back wheels. My buddy had one in HS. Damn that thing was fun. He used to drift it all the time really well. I was actually impressed. I asked him one time after six full tire burning laps around a culdesac how he did it so well. He just shrugged and said "you just gotta feather the clutch".

Drifting my old f-250 7.3 idi longbead was some of the most fun i've ever had on four wheels. Long wheelbase + light rear end = super fun sideways awesomeness.

Yah, I used to have a tacoma before I got my rsx. I'm looking frontier or tacoma. Should I be scared to look at 'em with 150k or so miles?

As long as you get the 22-re in the Tacoma, you have nothing to worry about. Those motors are fracking bulletproof. A lot of guys get 400K miles out of them. Make sure to get the manual as well.

Yup, you're right. I thought it carried over into the Tacos too. Idk if the v-6's are the same as the 3rd gen pickups, but theyre notorious for head gasket problems.

I had a v-6 1st gen tacoma. It was alright, but obviously sold it. How bad are the i4's in the 1st gen tacomas? Do you know anything about 'em? I don't want to go super super old (pre 95) for fear of their being bigger problems... I mean, this is going to be my dd...

    Nissan frontiers legit?

I don't know anything about the tacomas, I know the 3rd gen pickups 90-94. I'd rather have the pickup over the taco, but thats me. The I4 in the 3rd gen is bulletproof.

that's like a Ford or chevy with 75k. Most toyota I-4's are EXTREMELY reliable. My friend has a '97 with 250K on it and it has had zero problems. My Mom's had Camry's since I was born (28 years ago) and all have made it to 250-300k with no problems. Just traded in. I think one needed new CV joints at 200K.

    Nissan frontiers legit?
The K24 is a very reliable engine and parts are really cheap. They've used it in all the trucks, frontiers, 240sx's for a long time. Good torquey I-4 with 2.4L

so either 22r or frontier is win in this situation? Obviously my biggest concern is reliability, and this seems to be like the best move I can make right now with my paycheck.

Basically. I really like the styling of the frontiers. the tacomas look good too. I'd have to say the toyota will prob be more reliable in the end from what I've experienced and seen. BTW the Nissan is a KA24. IDK WTF is wrong with me typing wrong engine codes lately. Prob just shoot myself.

yeah, that confused me, thought you were talking about the honda k24. i'm half thinking of putting one in my em2 with basic bolt ons just for fun

oh and on the f150, naw it had a throttle body spacer that made that whistling sound, i got asked that all the time though. it was actually the shitty 4.5l v6 or whatever the smallest motor was, forgot.

It's only a ricer if you do ricer style things too it. Any respectable tuner hates ricey style imports as much as domestic guys do. Makes a bad name for all of us who try and build them the right way.
