Looks good from that angle, but I can't see offsets and that will make or break it.

Anyway...nice ride.
The engine that is in the Rx8 is a 13B, its just multi-side port and not FI. The old 13Bs used in FC and FD are so terribly unreliable I'll take the cut in HP and torque for reliability. And on these cars turbo isn't the way to go because most with the exception of one or two kits, restricts rpms which is what the rotary needs for torque. Supercharging is the way to go.

What LAX said. Yeah...Honestly I don't know much a bout thst engine (which is rare). I think it's because it was a dud. There's rarely any coverage or articles concerning it, and it's quite unpopular. I know they at least get better mileage than the older generations. I'm guessing a SC woul dblow out the seals also if what LAX said is true.

You always get a better looking (and potentially better handling from the wider track) with some spacers. A couple of folks on the S board are running OEM wheels, with 10-20mm spacers, and a +1 tire fitment (225/255) and it looks pretty goddam outstanding (and for < $50 for good, track quality spacers).

Yeah, that's the worst thing about the design. "Hey, we're using a rotary motor, so look, our headrests look like ROTORS, and look our exhaust cutout looks like a ROTOR, tehehehehe". That being said, the general design, the trick little suicide doors, weight, everything else are pretty cool. I say take the same design, get rid of the queer rotor-looking elements, then drop in a tweaked MS3 motor

We have one and while its slow in a straight line, it handles really well for any car, let alone a 4 door, 4 seat sport sedan. Mazda did a really good job with spring and damper rates because it is really tough to get the car bothered.

Yeah, it's wierd. Sometimes I see them and think "that's pretty sick" (Like Tyler's) and other times I'll see 'em and think WTF was Mazda thinking? That motor is just so dissapointing. Especially for a re-launch of one of the coolest sports cars ever.

Decided to give the Hankooks a try, the UHP model, Ventus V12 which are pretty popular with the BMW and Porsche crowds, generally fantastic reviews, very cost effective, currently a $50 rebate too. Apparently they have incredible wet braking performance and are within ticks of the Star Specs on the C&D small test track.

Seeing as I only drive the car in the summertime, I haven't spent too much time with offsets. Like I previously said, all that would be solved with the RPF1s.

The car handles so so well, the gearbox is really smooth as well. Those are def the positives.

Just put it on 100 miles ago and I love it. Just the JDM spoiler I bought from some kid and is now peeling like crazy and eventually needs to be replaced (kinda why I put the sticker there) athough I dont have money to waste on such a pointless thing.

FWIW, my comment was actually in reference to the post of Mega's ride.

OK, the new Ventus V12s will be here on Thursday just in time to get the car back up and running for our Friday date Same size spec as before, 225/40-18 in the front and 255/35-18 in the rear.

Also on the way: the Alpine KTX and PTX units. This is the tuning and EQ extension module for the IDA head units. Supposed to greatly improve the tuning options (and SQ, plus adds 4v preouts), the KTX is a microphone and Winders app that you run in the car and it autotunes the system by generating sounds and "listening".

Well technically I don't think he was beating him...after smoking the tires mid track and letting off, he swerved and hit the front fender of the red car...meaning that they had to be at least tied when he broke loose (and if he didn't beak lose the Supra would have won). The top end is where they really make up ground. And I don't know if I'd classify a 1300+ rwhp supra as "rice"

Anyway...yeah...aren't the sounds and paint etc. crazy? I've seen tons of crashes but that one was way different. Feels like you are actually there. Weird.
