No. I had a pretty inexpensive camera. It's the panasonic pv-gs80.

The conditions on Saturday were pretty bad. But coming from ohio they seemed pretty good for not seeing waves in like 6 months. On Sunday the wind picked up in the afternoon and it got to be even worse than Saturday.
