should a scratch be in order to require fixing? i got a scratch from some log that was on the beach, it went through like the top layer of glass/fiber whatever it is. like it went through the paint layer. should i worry and fix it?

Put your lips on the bottom of the board and seal them around the cut/scratch. Try to suck air into your mouth like you were sucking blood out of a cut on your finger. If you can taste salt or water, or even feel the air coming through, you've gone doen to the foam and you need to repair it asap or water will get in there.
Hmm... Sexual AND effective.
sweet. good idea. ill get to it...
ok i just did it. and i can get air through it. i mean i kinda have to try hard, but yeah i can suck air through it. i guess i should go mix up some resin.... GOSH
thanks man
If it's small, let it dry out or use a hair drier to speed things along, then use super glue. lay the gel type on thick and use a credit card to smooth it over. Let dry and you're good to go. Resin if it's bad though.Originally Posted by Skim Costa
super glue is expensive. and resin has worked like a charm before.
