Put your lips on the bottom of the board and seal them around the cut/scratch. Try to suck air into your mouth like you were sucking blood out of a cut on your finger. If you can taste salt or water, or even feel the air coming through, you've gone doen to the foam and you need to repair it asap or water will get in there.

If it's small, let it dry out or use a hair drier to speed things along, then use super glue. lay the gel type on thick and use a credit card to smooth it over. Let dry and you're good to go. Resin if it's bad though.

super glue is expensive. and resin has worked like a charm before.
