FEB 2nd Am Only Contest at Aliso Beach

Taking place on February 2nd, 2008 at Aliso Creek Beach.

Paulo Prietto and Steve Taylor have put together an event just for the up and comers. Any amatuer at any age level is welcome.

We are going to run three divisions. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. If you have any questions as to what division you should place yourself in, please don't be shy to ask. We will give you an honest opinion and help you decide where you will fit best.

The goal of this event is to give the youth another chance to fine tune their skills and also a chance for the people that normally don't enter contests to jump in and give it a shot in a fun atmosphere.

I apologize for the late notice, it is much harder to convince the city that skimboarding events are a good thing for the community than we had planned. Acquiring permits and insurance has been a rough road, but we've made it finally and would love to see anyone you can make it to come out and enter and have a good time.
