    Default Guitar Thread

Hey guys, I love playing guitar and I'm pretty sure some of you guys out there play too. I normally play acoustic but i do play electric now because i got an electric/acoustic for xmas. I wondered what you guys have been playing recently, I'm starving for something new to play and I always like new tabs to play with or suggest to other people.

Recently I've been playing a lot of Elliot Smith and The Decemberists and Dashboard Confessional because they are easy to pick up in minutes.

If you guys have any pics or wanna list what you play and shit you like to play, that would be sick because I'm craving more music. Thanks.

This is what I play currently, but I have owned many a guitar...

Been playing for more than 20 years.

I don't play too many cover tunes anymore... I mostly write my own music.

I'm struggling to write music write now but my music normally comes out weak and uninspired, so I always go back to tabs to challenge myself and increase my skillset. I ten to listen to music looking for something I doubt I can play. Then, when I go to jam, I have stronger base...

On a side note, I picked up a set of Elixir Strings today. They are incredible. They have the warmest tone I have ever heard out of my Mitchell. I HIGHLY Recommend them.... Plus they are guaranteed for some really long period of time.

I once had a Les Paul... it wasn't Gibson though, it was their other company, Epiphone.

Very kick ass sound when played thru a Marshall JCM 1/2 stack that I had back then.

that sounded alright but his guitar was little flat. I used to play some final fantasies so I think it's pretty sick. I never knew people played that shit.

this site has some defferent tabs of this song, but i like this one the best.
this one has the way to play it on the E string (like in the recorded version) or the way i like to play it on the A and E string (like the live version)
