Yeah like private groups will give that knowledge. Do they have the power to make them put labels on products or even teach kids knowledge in school? I think the govt has to come into play with knowledge at times.

What I'd rather have is a nickel for every smoker who started smoking without knowing how insanely dangerous it is to themselves and to others.

In fact, we could split it and probably still both be millionaires.

So by smelling your dads rank ass breath, you concluded when you were 5 years old that cigs may lead to serious health issues in the future?

Also, cigs didn't always have warnings or advertising saying they aren't good for you.

that was just more of a story. i knew they were bad for you i just remember that moment about my dad smoking.

well i dont think people knew how bad it really was until later years. back in the 60s and 70s everyone smoked and everywhere too. (this is info i got from my parents that lived then, obviously i dont know that from first hand expirience.)

I do occasionally, maybe 5-6 a month. I only do it after work, and I don't pay for them.

Yeah actually I just heard it's being debated in the state house. This is like the 10th time. Tobacco Companies have to much power in this state.

I am actually thinking about applying for a legal internship with Philip Morris in Richmond. I think Richmond has more tobacco company buildings than any other city.

read the first page... I agree with the one person who said...

WHATT is attractive about htem... U spend soo much money onn them and ur paying for moviing closer to lung cancer. Oh and it smells like shit. Ive never tried one ever. Although ive smoked cigars like a handful of times so i guess thats kinda close without the nicotine. I did that mainly cause me and my friends would sit around hammered just trying to blow smoke rings.

I haven't ever smoked anything and don't plan on it. Horrible habit and I do lose respect for people i find out do it. Not saying they are bad people, i just don't think it was a wise decision.

except this one time i smoked one of those big pretzel sticks....hahahhaha

I don't mean to sound like an asshole, it's just me being curious with this question. How do you get over the fact that you'd be working for a company that knowingly sells a product linked to so many deaths?

Again, I'm just curious. I'm not trying to imply anything else.
