I have like 4 songs under Bright Eyes in my 2gb Ipod Nano (Shut up. It was $30). But I put like 10 on there. All from the same album.

I just shrugged it off and I was on shuffle today and it played a Bright Eyes song that I don't have under the artist, but it's not anywhere else unless it comes up in shuffle.

dude my ipod is screwed up too. i cant look at youtube from my itouch. sometimes apple is just unreliable. sometimes i get that same problem and only portions of albums get on but thats usually if i download the song on limewire and the song had a virus

I doubt it. I mean how could it being used have anything to do with storage? The outside is scratched to hell, but that has nothing to do with anything.

The album was purchased in a store, if that helps at all.

Hmm... Since the iPod is scratched, maybe it only recognizes scratched albums.. Scratch up the disk then try.

my ipod did that also with a johnny cash cd, i just renamed the artist and it worked...

you probably put an invisible space after the artist name.

my ipod blows.. it will play one song then skip the next few then play another..and i can't put new songs on it

look under artists, not playlists. that may be the problem, that you are looking at the playlist for the album, not all songs for that artist.

Well I came across another song that wasn't listed under the arist while on shuffle. It had a space in front of the song name and when I scrolled through the rest of the list about 5 had the space in front too. I'm going to take out the space and see if it works.
