you just drag the pics onto the desk top. tada!
grab the bottom right corner of any box and drag to desired size.
everything is customizable and pretty much everything is dragable (saving and moving around wize)
there isnt really a need for right clicking on a mac. a lot of shortcuts are by holding the apple key and then pushing something. like apple + Q is to quit a program entirely. and apple + W is to just close that one box or program.
everything on a mac is intuitive and self explanatory. you dont need any help or advice. all key self explanatory key commands are already known to you. just access your genetic memory to figure them out and tap into this computer "that works the way you do".Originally Posted by flskim2332
if you want right click just go under system preferences and click on the mouse and select the right click as secondary function rather than primary.

okay, not being an asshole now...
The first thing I would do is buy a microsoft two button mouse. Cause right click is very very helpful. You can however perform the same action by holding command and clicking with the mac mouse. Something like this should work:

To save pics off the internet, right click on them (like a PC)
To expand a window, click and drag the bottom right hand corner. to position a window, click and drag the top of the window. macs dont have a button that expands the window to full screen like pc's do. But they do have a button on the upper left that makes the window as tall as the display (but not wider), I think its green.
peluso, please tell me you know the standard apple mighty mouse has both left and right clicks...

Step 2: Buy a PC.
I know that you can configure a one button mac mouse to have right click like functionality, but you lose another function in order to do it.
I personally have to disable the side buttons cause I (and others) constantly hit them inadvertently.
I like to configure the scroll ball click to display all windows, since reaching up with your other hand to hit F11 or whatever is retarded, and there is no taskbar. This of course diables another function such as opening a link in another tab, like on my PC. But its not like safari has tabbed browsing anyway (standard), and thats the price you pay for using equipment of inferior design. lol.
For 15 bucks I prefer to buy a wireless mouse that did not become outdated in functionality 20 years ago. (i.e., a two button mouse.)
zomg.
i'll fully agree the side buttons are a pain in the ass sometimes.
apple+t (File>New Tab) should give you a new tab in safari.

I see that safari finally got updated to support tabbed browsing. good for them.
what is your center click button set up to do? what is the default? I forget...
First thing I did was go out and buy a Microsoft mouse. So, I have a black mouse with Microsoft written on it severely clashing with my all white Macbook.

How do you change the settings for the scroll button?

apple, system preferences, mouse - or something like that.
I agree with Peluso on the two-button mouse.
That's the first thing any Mac user should buy. Holding down a single-button mouse is time consuming and plain irritating.
The rad thing about a Macbook is that the mousepad knows if you have one or two fingers on it. One finger moves the cursor, two fingers scrolls.

Rob, what are you talking about holding down a one button mouse? The apple mice has one solid top but I can left and right click it the exact same a a two button mouse. click the left side of the shell for the left click and click the right side of the shell for a right click...

I was so stoked on that when I first found out haha.Originally Posted by noah lane
