Sorry, no Skim Calendar this year. Not enough interest last year. I went in a different direction this year & made a Ukulele Calendar. So if any of you play the ukulele & would like a calendar, contact me.

Debi Parola and Steve Kelnhofer have both made calendars. There's just not enough interest.

that's really sad debi to think that there is more interest in a uke than the sport of skimboarding. but if you're serious about that (cause i thought it came off as more of a joke), i know a guy here (famous east coast legend surfer) who owns a surf shop, that kills at the uke and could prolly sell calanders outa his shop (he sells ukes and gives lessons right there at the shop). i was going there tomorrow anyway for a xmas party, my friend's band (the shop owner's son) is playing there, they write their own original surf music. anyway, i'll bring it up to him and let you know what he says.

Seriously, I made a non-serious Ukulele Calendar, professionally printed & everything. If your friend would like to sell them, have him email me- my name @ pacbell.net. Here's pics of the front & back of the calendar.

you never know what can happen through contacts like that.

i went over to his shop today, but he was quite busy with his festivities and i really didn't want him to talk shop right then. he was busy gloating over his son's band playing out on the back porch and his re-released surf movie onto dvd, and his wife's christmas cookies. yeah, not a good time. but if i know him, he would love this calander. he's been playing since he was 4. he even has his own model uke Balsa Bill Ukes.

we've made a calendar, it goes all the way from april 2007 to march 2008. best portuguese skimmers on it, and some nice photos.

I think a couple of guys from the US who came over here got some calendars.

it looked nice, the pictures looked nice, but once again, we printed 50 calendars, and were only able to sell 30 (and they only costed 10 euros)
