I'm sure one of the Lisbon harbor siders will be firing but I'd just like to see some pics of the surf breaks. Nazare was double overhead with a 4-6 ft swell, I can't imagine how big it's going to get with this swell.

Wetsand has to be the most unreliable source for wave prediction on the internet. Divide whatever they say by 3.

I remember back during Hurricane Florence they predicted 92 foot seas off of N.C. ....

Swellinfo is pretty accurate for the north east. I think the guy who runs it is based out of delawere. I've always found it to be very very reliable.

Next Wednesday wetsand is calling for swell to hit Norcal ranging from 28-42 ft. We'll see about that, but if it's at least half that big I know what little spot by the bay I'll be hitting up.

Well I don't think that there's enough of it around to be a huge issue for skimming at the beaches around the bay. I heard they at least opened most of the beaches now. Still a few of my friends have been getting oil stains all over there boards and in their wax from skimming at places like Baker and Montara.

Seriously doubt that, maybe they concentrate on the more surfer populated areas, but Wetsand is terrible.

Why not just use the actual source that the wetsand's, swellinfo's, surfline's, magicseaweed's, and all the other forecast sites use, the NOAA? They take all of their information from the NOAA buoys and other NOAA tools and jumble them into one equation for the spot. There's no local knowledge involved in any of those sites, making them far less accurate than just analyzing the buoy data, winds, tides, directions and such.
