I like PC's because my windows dont disappear on their own... Like when I move the mouse to the left side of the screen by accident.

Looks like a good laptop thats severely overpriced. The specs themselves are not outstanding. Dell and many other computer manufacturers offer pretty much the same set up for about 1,000-1,500 dollars cheaper. Their argument in regards to gaming is pretty useless in my opinion. If you want to play games, macs are generally not platforms that offer much, but then again the boot camp allows you to switch over, if you so choose. I get pretty much the same frame rate in Call of Duty 2, which is a demanding game. Mac's are great for editing film, but editing can be done with Sony Vegas as well. So basically all I really see is your paying $1000-$1500 more to be able to boot camp, which in itself is pretty convenient, but not worth that much to me.

I recently got a Dell Inspiron 1520. Same graphics card, 2gb RAM, 160 GB SATA, slightly slower processor for 1500-1600 (school discount included).

My point is basically that this laptop is nothing special, and very overpriced at that.

Don't get me wrong, Macs are very fun computers to fool around with, but people will always have their preferences.

I tried a Macbook for awhile but I think my XPS out performs the frack out of a Macbook. I think Apple has better software, and Apple seems to do more into advancing software unlike Windows.

Again no, mine was loose so I superglued it permanently to the machine - mine now has a "no lose" feature for the powercord.

I still have my OSX86 ready to go when I replace my current notebook, so I'll at least be groovin' with the Mac OS (not sure what I'll do with it, but it looks pretty cool).

that's a setting you can change, and, when used intentionally helps alot. basically you set which screen corner in system preferences and then when you move the mouse there, it hides all applications and shows your desktop
