I'm looking to catch a few waves in Jersey. Ive skimed Manasquan inlet before but am clueless to where the good skim is. Can u help a traveling old guy catch a few waves the next 4 days.

Does the right side of the seabright jetty break good during summer?
theres a lot of jettys in SB so dont know what ur talking about exactly but from what i skim its usually the left side. but the summer is usually a toss up its either flat or firing

i beg to differ lbi fall and winter skim is incredible, better then the summer i think. plus no more d-rash thanks to wetsuits
The waves are sick but good luck reaching em in 20 pounds of neoprene and flat slope. Can't remember a specific day from winter I'd call good. Winter is for surfing.
hey guys used to skimboard everyday in the summer, but now that everyone went back to school im alone skimboarding would be nice to have someone to meet up with so we could push eachother. i skimboard in seaside park nj im going in the morning if anyone wants to meet up.. its boring skimming alone

Hey man, just getting into skimming and saving up for my 1st foamie (learned on a Victoria woody which I am currently using), what's the best time for some skimming in seaside park, I just moved to Toms River and been to Seaside Park a few times, it's usually hit or miss. Hit me up
Also, I am still practicing on a woodie but dont have the funds to buy my first foamie, are woodys nearly impossible to skim small waves on?
AKA Am I wasting my time trying to skim onto waves with my woodie? So far its not working out too well, I pretty much sink once I reach ankle high water
