Wonder if the conditions will better or worse this year on the jersey coast with all that sand moved around underwater and displaced from Sandy. Just a thought.

i'm not even sure. i went to where i normally surf this weekend and the waves were all crazy and whatnot. it was really windy though. but there's shit all over the place, rocks and other stuff like giant concrete blocks. seems like a lot of jetties are gone or cut in half now too.

    Yo

Kinda random, but ive been going fishing at this spot near tuckerton, 7 bridges. You drive across the march all the way out to where you are looking out the middle of little egg inlet. I know from being on my boat that the water from the inlet to this little cove is about 50ft deep until about 10 feet off shore it hits a shallow sod like underwater cliff. Well anyway, there is this one sand cove there that forms a perfect liner that you could hop off of the solid bank onto the line. It would only be 200ft long max but it is a pretty consistent waist high wave. Anyone know what im talking about, I will try and find a picture.

This is a pic with the tide very low (huge tides here), the water gets all the way up to the section of sand on the left.

    Look at 1:43

I live like 5 mins away from there, I'd love to go check it out. What tide are you seeing this at? Like dead high, incoming, outgoing?
