i myself like love ladies in lbi its a little bit after surf city... pretty sick cause at night the beach is litterally a ghost beach... when i was there, there were 4 little kids playing football and that was it for about 4 streets
Same thing with north beach.Originally Posted by drkadrka

ive never been able to figure out where XXXX is, is it close to lbi?
xxxx's every weekend... even if its not working. Closest beach to my house and on big sets goes off. my xxxx's is not close to lbi though.
Dan you down for skim on Thursday? I'm skipping class I think and I don't have work until 6.
nah man I got class from 2 til 5 and Ive already skipped it. Im down for anytime this weekend. Minus the lowtide bullshit last friday was pretty fun.

yeah north beach. 2 weeks in the beginning of the summer i was there. the closest beach to me is seabright and thats all i got under an hour away
looks like bad winds (E, SE, and S) this weekend but if anything cleans up Id like to give your spot a try again, although as I was driving south to north, I noticed one or two areas that may have been breaking even better.Originally Posted by RJ_from_NJ
Sounds good, it looks like we could be getting some good conditions. I just can't skim Sunday, I think I have tickets to the Giants game.
XXXXX is so sick, but what about XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. That spot gets epic.

Me and RJ may be skimmin long branch on saturday if anyones down.
dan u should head a little bit farther north to momouth beach. a buddy of mine told me the pipe is real nice for skimming now
i am most deffinitly going out fri
i dont care what the waves are like
i need to just get away from alot of shit going on and skimming is one way to get my mind off of it
I hear ya... the winds actually seem to be changing for saturday and the swell should be 'decent' enough to go (2.5ft.) And Ill see whats good, since I have to travel basically 45 mins to get to long branch as it is.
how far is long branch from LBI. estimate
I really have no idea since it takes me an hour from my house to get to LBI and about an hour to get to LB... then again I live a bit in-state. Someone may know better.
hmm
it takes me 2 hours to get to Atlantic City
and about 45 min to seaside park
same... where you live again? I live 5 miles from Great Adventure.
1 mile from seabright lol
LBI to Long Branch is about an hour.
XXXXX's is prolly the best spot in jersey. If you've caught it on a good day, you understand. Out going tide + westerlies = hmmm ummm.

Here is my spot, well not my spot but I'm there almost every weekend/Wednesdays and some Thursdays and I'm the only person I've ever seen skim there except for this one dude back in July.
These pictures are from Wednesday September 12 I think. It was about 70 degrees and a nice off shore wind. Knee-waist high at times.
All of the bennys on the beach
