Default New skate shots from SS? Can it be possible?

Yes, actually it is. And here they are. Once again, Pbase is gay, so I will post links with the pictures if you can't see them. Street, flashes, all good shit.

you're skills are getting better but i'm not so into how far you are away in this set. I personally like skate shots to be closer. you're skills are definetly getting better though. props.

I guess thats personal preference. Do you mean like super tight, skater ovvupying more than 50% of the frame? Or what?

    Thanks Tony.

My personal preference is a little more like this

to me it just seems like you have to much space around the skater...

Erm, that doesn't really help. Stair sets are big, shopping carts aren't. Can you find a picture of a stair set that you like more?

Sorry, but yeah. I get what your saying, anyway.

    what lens are you using?

i'd love to start doing skate photography, but I never really had the chance...

how do you set the exposure? or do you just use auto mode?

Im using the 18-200mm VR. Its great for all long lens shots, because there really is never a need to change lenses.

For exposure, I use flashes that can't exceed 1/500th of a second, so I start there. Then, I find a aperature 1 stop or so underexposed (People say 2 stops is a good ambient/flash ratio, but I think its too underexposed). If I can't do that, start to bump ISO.
