Who did you learn how to skim from?

hey, im kinda new to these forums. im a south florida skimmer. And I have been wondering who or where did you guys learn to skim from??

I learned to skim all on my own actually. My dad bought be my first skimboard when i was real little, it was a small woody from a tourist beach shop. Then about 2 years ago i started to skim real often and got more into it and i bought a L Wedge. Me and friend started to skim as often as we could and we just taught ourselves. We watched videos and just practiced alot. Then i figured it was about time to ditch the wedge and get something better. So about a year ago i go a L Exile S-glass Hybrid, and i have just been progressing ever since.

i tought myself everything i know lol, watching vids gives me a idea how to do technical stuff. there was no one around to teach me, my dad bought me a wood board for my b-day present when i was 11
