I just got lucky and got some extra money to buy a board.
So I heard syndrome were real good.

Get a syndrome. They are really really really strong and fast. The thing with syndromes that i have noticed is you have to give them a good week or two to get used to. Especially if you are switching from a zap.
Syndromes are not a very forgiving boards, not only because of their solid rails that happen to be very sharp, but also (but also... lol) because they kinda force you to ride ride more smoothly (work with the wave instead of bashing it) in order to ride well. At first i wasn't sure about my 1st syndrome, but now that i'm used to them, i dont ever wanna buy another kind of board.
I've bought 3 so far.
p.s. this is just my own opinion. Other boards are nice too, i just love syndromes.
