New Board...please Help

I have been skimboarding for about a year and i was wondering if anyone could help me with picking out my next board. This is going to be my first wave riding board and i didn't know whether to get a pro board or a large wedge. I was originally thinking about getting a zap wedge large, but i didn't know if there was that much of a difference in wave riding capabilities for either board. PLEASE HELP
