    Default Zap, Victoria, or Sol

Hey all this is my first post here. I use my friends Zap pro board now and I do like it. But when looking into buying one I also saw the Sol and Victoria so I just wanted to get some opinions.

The Sol Pin Large (im 6'2" and about 175-180) - is the cheeper and is made of s-glass.

The victoria ultra vac large and zap pro large (I do like my friends zap) are pretty much the same price and all look comparable.

when doing some research I saw more people have the victoria, the the zap and few poeple with the sol. Why so few poeple with the sol? is there something I should know? I wont be hitting any big waves at all, and stay on the sand for a better part of the time.

Anyways i just wanted to see what you have to say about the 3. They all look good and im sure any would do me fine. thanks.

some people dont like sols cuz the rails are too thin or something. I'd go with the pro even though the ultra vac is a great board

if you search the forums, you'll see that there are TONS of threads about which board to get. in the end, they all end up with the same answer...board choice is all about preference. people can give you their opinions about which board/size/whatever is best but in the end, you just have to figure out what works best for you.

if youre just starting out, either of the three boards you mentioned will work just fine, esp if you intend to start out mainly on the sand. use the sizing info provided by the manufacturer and buy a board you like

note: as for the lack of sols, im pretty sure that's just due to the fact that they're a newer company and just dont have the reputation and history that companies like exile, zap, and vic have. just like the post above says, they do tend to have a sharper rails but that's not really a big issue

WAVEZONE FTW!!!!!!!!! my wavezone was the greatest board ive ever had, that extra rocker makes it much more manueverable, and the thin shape makes it fast with those sharp rails.

I hear grapes are good but aren't really worth ordering straight from Paul Wade if you live on the East coast because of the 60 dollars shipping charge...yeah it was the deciding factor for me between a grape and and exile.
