anyone ever get an open container ticket?

it's not for me.

i know it's a fine, set by the court, but does anyone have any idea what the range of the fine is? i spent most of the morning trying to get in touch with the court after the sheriff's department told me they didn't have the info, but no luck so far.

any information would be helpful.

My buddy got one in gainesville. Range from 50-100 bucks i think.

My younger bro spent time in jail for not showing up to court for this ticket. They only keep you 24 hours if you dont pay and release you time served.

So you can think of it as a day off with out pay, unless you put in a vacation day before the warrant is issued.
