    Default Zap fish VS. Wedge-Large

I'm debating which one to get as my first skimboard and would like to know what exactly is the difference between the two besides the design of the tail?

I'm not too sure, but it can't be much of a difference.

What makes the sol pin better than the zap wedge? It looks like the same thing to me.

It is S-glass, floats better, and in my experience turns better.

haha. How much does a large sol pin go for? I'm leaning towards the wedge only because my friend has one and I like how it feels, not to mention it's a reasonable price for my first board.

Ok well I'm not really looking to spend $218 on a skimboard so the obvious choice for me would be to get the wedge. I just really wanted to know how the fish felt compared to the wedge but I don't know or have talked to anyone who has used one.

It's worth spending the extra 50 in the long run for a much more durable and better handling board.

From what i remember seeing the fish is a really short and wide board like a vic foamie, if so stay clear away. Go for the wedge Ive heard people on here say they work great for beginners countless times. Go with that or a vic ultra. Ultra is my personal suggestion for beginners

im pretty sure the fish is less responsive meaning it is harder to turn but it is more bouyant so you can reach wsaves further away. i think the large wedge is a good starter board, my brother has it and he has not problems.
its weird how people point to their wrist when they ask what time it is. I should start pointing to my dick when i ask where the bathroom is.

A quick question about the wedge. Does it have a trad rocker, and their website says the large is for under 160 lbs I am around 170 should I consider something else?
